Huangyao Ancient Town

One of the 50 most popular places for foreigners to visit in China. Huang Yao has a history of nearly a thousand years. It originated in the Song Dynasty (972 BC) and was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It flourished during the Qian Long period of the Qing dynasty and is one of the “most beautiful ten ancient towns in China”, a famous town in Guangxi. There are eight streets in the ancient town built with quartzite, and most of the houses remain in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are cultural landscapes such as Han Yu and Liu Zongbiao’s work, the former memorial hall of Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, He Xiangning, Gao Shiqi, Qian jiabang and other cultural celebrity dwellings, as well as many poetic inscriptions.

Guposhan National Forest Park

Guposhan National Forest Park is only 26 kilometers away from downtown (Babu district), is located on the middle station of the Hong Kong-Guangzhou-Guilin Golden Tour Line. With the characteristics of high peaks and deep valleys, majestic mountains, luxuriant forests, abundant animal and plant resources, plunging waterfalls and streams, and elegant environment. It is a combination of “grand, odd, beautiful and secluded” and features both landscape and suburban parks. According to the authoritative scientific research institute, Guposhan has an anion content of up to 160,000 per cubic meter. Guposhan Scenic Area is therefore known as the largest natural forest oxygen bar in South China.


18 Waters Ecological Scenic Spot

18 waterfalls ecological scenic spot is one of the most worthwhile tourist attractions in Hezhou, and it is one of the most popular tourist attractions for Hezhou citizens. There are ten waterfalls and eighteen bays in the scenic spot, hence the name “eighteen waters”. Within the scenic area, the mountains are deep and the waterfalls are clustered. Jade Stone Forest Park

Jade stone forest park is located in the Babu distric of huangtian town, 18 kilometers away from the city. It is the only white marble geopark in China. Granite. The stone forest is composed of rare white marble granite columns and stalagmites, which belongs to the karst landscape. It was formed in the  Cambrian period more than 100 million years ago. Please note that tourists with heart disease, high blood pressure, and acrophobia should be cautious when they are on the one-line sky of the scenic spot.


Zhuangyuan (Number One Scholar) Village of Xiushui Town  

XiuShui Yao Nationality scholars Village was built during the Kaiyuan period of Tang dynasty, has a history of more than 1300 years. The first ancestor, Mao Zhi, was a jinshi(a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in Tang Kaiyuan period and was also a prefectural governor of Hezhou at that time. According to the investigation, Xiushui Village accounted for 27 of the 133 Fuchuan Imperial Examinations listed in the county records. Among them, Mao zizhi is the zhuangyuan of song dynasty, thus the village has the reputation of “Zhuangyuan village”.

Hakka Circular House

Hakka Circular House is located in Renchong Village, Liantang Town, Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi Province, and is 10 kilometers away from Hezhou downtown. It is currently one of the most complete, largest and oldest Hakka ancient buildings in China. It is a typical representative of Guangxi's Hakka people's houses.
